Nice Email!

Not long after the dust settled from our early exit from the FA Cup, this email was received on the BFCSA address:

I just want to say that the way in which I guess 300+ of your supporters stayed behind after the game to applaud the Tivvy team well after the final whistle was a total credit to them and your club.

Then again on the way out in our coaches countless of your fans on the pavements, at bustops, in cars and even getting out of their cars, they applauded us. It was magnificent and put the icing on what had been a great day for our club and its travelling supporters. True, we deserved to win on the day.

In the end, football is the winner. As a result of the game and especially the attitude of your fans, I will now keep a closer look out as to how Barnet get on in the Conference. It was so different from some of the higher league clubs that we have visited in the past (Cardiff, Kettering to name two). Thanks and good luck in the future.
