BARNET
Boss Peter Shreeves is likely to name an unchanged side
from that which beat Burton Albion 3-0 last weekend for
the visit of Halifax. Skipper Greg Heald, yet to appear
this season, has had an injection in his groin and may
not be ready. Injured pair Wayne Purser and Stuart Niven
are due to visit Lilleshall next week.
BURTON ALBION
Boss Nigel Clough is sweating on the fitness of Neil
Glasser and new signing Andy Sinton as Albion look to
banish the memory of a poor Bank Holiday weekend with a
win at Telford. Glasser (knee) and Sinton (Achilles) both
have slight worries but Clough is confident they will be
fit.
CHESTER
Mark Wright could field an unchanged starting line-up for
his unbeaten side's trip to Forest Green. The Chester
boss has no new injuries or suspensions to worry about as
his side look to build on their solid start to the
season. Chester have won both their away matches this
season.
DAG & RED
Garry Hill is unable to welcome back any of his walking
wounded for Saturday's game at Farnborough. Hill will
look to go top of the Conference table with a win and
should name an unchanged side to the one that drew 1-1
with Telford with no fresh injury worries.
DONCASTER
Manager Dave Penney is set to welcome back Alan Morgan
into his squad when Rovers make the tough trip to Drill
Field to face Northwich. The defender has played only
once since the Conference campaign began but he has
shaken off a niggling ankle injury and is fit again.
FARNBOROUGH
Boss Graham Westley should be boosted by the return of
several players from injury for the visit of Dagenham
& Redbridge on Saturday. The club are hoping to
bounce back from the 1-0 defeat at Doncaster and have
Leroy Griffiths, Danny Carroll, Gary Butterworth and Ken
Charlery all available.
FOREST GREEN
Nigel Spink should name an unchanged side for the home
clash with Chester on Saturday. Kevin Langan is the only
doubt for Rovers, having missed the 3-0 defeat at Margate
through injury, but he should be fit. Rovers have
reported no other injury worries or suspensions.
GRAVESEND
Gravesend could be without eight players for the visit of
unbeaten Southport. Matthew Lee (ankle), Aaron Barnett
(knee) and Paul Sturgess (hamstring) all join long-term
absentees Andy Lye (knee) and Francis Duku (broken ankle)
in the treatment room. Justin Skinner, Mark Bentley and
Steve McKimm could also miss out.
HALIFAX
Defender Sean McAuley is the only doubt for Halifax as
they look to get back to winning ways. McAuley picked up
a slight calf strain in training and faces a late test,
but midfielder Steve Bushell (knee) - dismissed in
Monday's 5-0 defeat to Northwich - has responded to
treatment and is expected to start.
HEREFORD
Director of football Graham Turner has a largely healthy
squad to choose from for the trip to Nuneaton. Defender
Andy Tretton was forced off the field after just 15
minutes of the 2-1 home defeat against Morecambe but has
declared himself fully fit. However, midfielder Ben Smith
is still sidelined.
KETTERING
Manager Carl Shutt has a fully-fit squad to choose from
with no new injury or suspension problems for the tough
Conference clash with Yeovil. Shutt has no injury
problems to contend with but said: "They are a fit,
strong side so we've got to make sure we match
them."
LEIGH RMI
Manager Steve Waywell is without Neil Fitzhenry as he
prepares his side for the home clash with Margate. The
defender starts a three-match ban following his dismissal
at Dagenham & Redbridge. The Railwaymen have picked
up just three points from their opening four games, but
Waywell insists confidence is high.
MARGATE
Margate have several key players ruled out for the trip
to Leigh RMI. Jay Saunders serves a one-match ban against
the Railwaymen, while Darren Freeman (knee), Phil Collins
(Achilles) and Simon Beard (foot) are all injured. John
Keister (back) and Graham Porter (neck) are struggling to
be fit.
MORECAMBE
Jim Harvey has no fresh injury concerns or suspensions
and is set to name an unchanged side against Stevenage as
Morecambe look to continue their good start to the
season. Harvey will be looking for more of the same from
Wayne Curtis, who struck twice in the win against
Hereford on Monday.
NORTHWICH
Manager Jimmy Quinn is hoping Kevin Street will be
available to make his first start of the season against
Doncaster at Drill Field. The former Crewe midfielder,
who joined on a free transfer earlier this month, missed
the first three matches because of a problem with a nerve
in his ankle.
NUNEATON
Nuneaton will be without goalkeeper Chris MacKenzie when
they look for their second win of the season at home to
Hereford as he serves a one-match ban. Midfielder Barry
Williams is also doubtful with an ankle injury, although
manager Steve Burr has not ruled him out of his thoughts
entirely.
SCARBOROUGH
Midfielder Jason Blunt will make his second successive
start against Woking following his return from injury.
The Seadogs have yet to record a victory so far but
manager Russell Slade has no fresh injury worries and is
set to select from the same side who lost 1-0 to Dagenham
& Redbridge.
SOUTHPORT
Phil Wilson again faces the prospect of being without
captain Steve Soley for the trip to Gravesend. The
experienced midfielder, yet to make his debut, is
battling to recover from an ankle injury, while Marc
Lloyd-Williams faces a late fitness test on a heel
problem before Wilson names his side.
STEVENAGE
Stevenage are facing an injury crisis ahead of the trip
to Morecambe, with midfielders Sam McMahon, Neil Smith
and Matt Fisher all extremely doubtful for the clash
having picked up knocks over the Bank Holiday weekend.
Turner is unable to name his side until he knows whether
they are available.
TELFORD
Manager Jake King will be without son Jordan for the game
against newly-promoted Burton Albion. The young
midfielder was involved in a car crash three weeks ago
and suffered repercussions in Monday's 1-1 draw against
Dagenham. Gary Fitzpatrick will also have a late fitness
test on an ankle injury.
WOKING
Geoff Chapple hopes to have a full squad as the leaders
travel to Scarborough. The Cardinals had an unchanged
team for the first three games but Robbie Kember missed
the 3-0 win over Leigh RMI and Nicky Banger went off at
half-time, both with hamstring twinges. However, both
should be back.
YEOVIL
Gary Johnson is expected to stick with his winning lineup
for the Conference trip to Kettering. The Glovers are
fresh from wins at Morecambe (2-1) and at home to
Nuneateon Borough (3- 2) and Johnson selects from the
same squad with only Tom White (knee) ruled out by
injury.
