BARNET
Barnet striker Wayne Purser is expected to return to the
starting line-up for the clash with Morecambe at
Underhill. Purser made his first appearance of the
campaign as a substitute on Monday after recovering from
a broken ankle. Midfielder Stuart Niven is also back in
the squad after his pre-season ankle injury.
BURTON ALBION
Burton centre-half Mark Blount is doubtful for the clash
with Margate with a twisted knee, but Terry Henshaw is
likely to return to the squad after an ankle injury.
Darren Wassall remains a long-term injury victim and is
set to see a specialist in a bid to cure his knee
problem.
CHESTER
Chester boss Mark Wright is waiting for news of defender
Scott Guyett's fitness before naming his side for the
trip to fellow high-flyers Doncaster. Guyett picked up a
hamstring strain during the 2-1 win over Burton Albion on
Tuesday and may not be risked, with Martyn Lancaster set
to take his place.
DAG & RED
Dagenham have no new injury concerns ahead of the visit
of Southport. Mark Smith and Steve Perkins are considered
fully fit after suffering no reaction to their calf and
hamstring injuries respectively at Margate. Tim Cole will
play no part, having joined Gravesend on a month's loan
earlier this week.
DONCASTER
Doncaster Rovers hope to welcome back forwards Justin
Jackson and Andy Watson for the clash with league leaders
Chester. Jackson and Watson have made good recoveries
from their respective injuries but Kevin Sandwith
suffered a deep gash in his shin in a practice game and
will miss out. Fran Tierney, Barry Miller and Jamie Price
are all out of contention.
FARNBOROUGH
Farnborough manager Graham Westley welcomes back three
players from injury for the trip to Telford as he looks
to confine the midweek loss to Forest Green to history.
Michael Warner should return after missing Tuesday's game
with a back injury, while striker Christian Lee's muscle
tear has healed and Nathan Bunce is available.
FOREST GREEN
Forest Green Rovers boss Colin Addison has no new injury
worries heading into the bottom-of-the-table clash with
Kettering. Midfielder Alan McCloughlin is still sidelined
after picking up a knee injury in the defeat at Nuneaton,
so Addison will keep faith with the side that won at
Farnborough on Tuesday.
GRAVESEND
Gravesend boss Andy Ford could make changes from the side
that held Doncaster to a 2-2 draw on Tuesday for the trip
to Northwich. Centre-half Nick Burton is in contention
after recovering from an ankle injury and striker Paul
Booth is available after missing the Doncaster clash due
to a family bereavement.
HALIFAX
Halifax boss Chris Wilder is facing a striker crisis
ahead of the clash with Nuneaton with Simon Parke
(groin), Brian Quailey (hamstring) and Steve Kerrigan
(calf) all struggling. Skipper Steve Bushell has a slight
knock but should be available, while defender Neil
Grayston is a doubt after being stretchered off in
midweek.
HEREFORD
Hereford manager Graham Turner has a doubt over striker
John Grant ahead of the visit of Scarborough to Edgar
Street. The summer signing from Northwich, yet to score
in seven matches, sustained a calf injury during the 3-2
win at Kettering on
Tuesday, which took Hereford's unbeaten run to six games.
KETTERING
Kettering boss Carl Shutt is hoping his side "begin
to get the rub of the green" as they make the trip
to fellow strugglers Forest Green. Shutt was keeping his
cards close to his chest concerning his selection, but
youngster Michael McKenzie is set to be in the squad
after signing a two-year contract.
LEIGH RMI
Leigh RMI boss Steve Waywell will select from an
unchanged squad against Yeovil after Wayne Maden suffered
no reaction to his toe injury at Scarborough on Tuesday.
Waywell is looking to strengthen his side, but said:
"I am hoping to get something sorted, but it is
looking doubtful for the weekend."
MARGATE
Margate manager Chris Kinnear has no new injury problems
to contend with ahead of the trip to Burton. Phil Collins
is likely to be limited to a role on the bench as he
continues his battle back to full fitness, and Bill
Edwards will also travel north after recovering from a
knee injury.
MORECAMBE
Morecambe manager Jim Harvey will be forced to make at
least two changes to his side for the trip to Underhill
to face Barnet. Defender Keith Hill and midfielder
Adriano Rigoglioso are both serving one-match
suspensions, for a sending-off and five yellow cards
respectively.
NORTHWICH
Northwich boss Jimmy Quinn is sweating on the fitness of
midfielder Val Owen ahead of his side's home game against
Gravesend. He said: "We're just waiting on Val who
has a groin injury. We've done very well recently and now
we've just got to keep it going."
NUNEATON
A late decision will be taken on Craig Woodley's
availability for Nuneaton's trip to Halifax after his
bout of flu. Experienced defender Terry Angus is hoping
to return after a four match absence with a hamstring
injury as Boro look to bounce back from a 4-1 home defeat
by Northwich in midweek.
SCARBOROUGH
Scarborough manager Russell Slade will pick from the
squad that overcame Leigh RMI on Tuesday when his side
travel to Hereford. Richard Dryden, Steve Baker, Jason
Blunt and Nick Henry are once again sidelined by injury
as Boro go in search of a sixth successive game unbeaten.
SOUTHPORT
Southport manager Phil Wilson has no major injury
concerns ahead of his side's clash with Dagenham. He
said: "A couple of players picked up minor knocks
against Halifax on Tuesday, but we'll see how they are
closer to Saturday. Other than that, there is nothing
else to worry about."
STEVENAGE
Stevenage manager Wayne Turner will give fitness tests to
Martin Williams and Charlie McDonald ahead of the trip to
Woking. Jude Sterling is also a doubt after suffering
concussion on reserve duty in midweek, but otherwise
Borough will take a strong squad to the Kingfield
Stadium.
TELFORD
Telford manager Jake King is likely to be without Paul
Moore after the striker was forced off through injury
during the first half of Tuesday night's 1-0 defeat at
Morecambe. Moore was replaced by Peter Smith and the
latter is likely to retain his place if Moore is kept out
of the home game with Farnborough.
WOKING
Woking will be without Chris Sharpling (knee ligaments)
for the visit of Stevenage Borough, but fellow striker
Warren Patmore could return after missing the midweek
game at Yeovil Town with food poisoning. Midfielder Paul
Steele will make his comeback from a cruciate knee
ligament injury for the Kingfield Stadium club.
YEOVIL
Second-placed Yeovil Town are boosted by the return to
fitness of Kim Grant ahead of their trip to lowly Leigh
RMI. Grant, who can play in midfield or attack, managed a
90-minute runout for the reserves in midweek after
shrugging off a groin injury. Jon Sheffield looks likely
to keep his place in goal.
