  The Season So Far

Dagenham & Redbridge have struggled so far this season after last season's near miss for promotion, although most people in the game believe they should have gone up. Saying that though, they haven't lost in their last nine games, drawing the last three.

A good start to the campaign saw three consecutive wins, but then a draw followed by four straight defeats. Two wins and three defeats followed before the latest unbeaten run, although six of these have been draws.

Barnet had a day off last Saturday, which was probably for the best and saw them slip down to 12th place. I'm sure no-one needs reminding what a difficult Christmas period the Bees have, so to avoid further embarresment Barnet need to take all three points from this game.

With news of ground regulations changing, (hopefully meaning Barnet don't have to desert the glorious Underhill just yet), things may start to improve on the pitch as well. This could be the best Christmas present every Bees fan could wish for so get on down to Underhill, get behind the Lads and have a great day out.

The Daggers will be looking for revenge after our last minute win on Boxing Day. They will have the wind in their sails after their 4-0 demolition of Gravesend & Northfleet on Saturday, but the Bees won't be disappointed with their performance against Yeovil and will doubtless be up for their first away win since October.
