  The Season So Far

After winning their first game 2-0 to Telford at home Halifax have lost the next three on the trot, letting in ten goals on the way and not troubling the opposite keeper at all.
After the 0-5 defeat at home to Northwich Victoria the chairman sent a video off to the League claiming poor refereeing standards.
Barnet on the other hand, bounced back the best way possible on Monday night beating Burton 3-0 after a rather lack-lustre performance against Chester the previous Saturday, losing 3-0 at home.

Phils Prediction

Couldn't have been more wrong if I tried for the Burton game (predicted 0-2). I think I'll back the lads from now on!

History

Halifax Town was founded on May 24th 1911 after a meeting held at The Saddle Hotel. The first trophy won was the Bradford Hospitals Cup 1913/14. The FA Cup was first enetered in 1912/13 and the best seasons were 1913/15 and 1952/53 when the team reached the 5th round.

Did You Know?

On November 7th 1998 Haliax Town were away to Carlisle United. When goalkeeper Tim Carter was injured in the first half, Kevin Hulme took over, kept a clean sheat and became man of the match in a 1-0 win.
