  The Season So Far

A tough start for Leigh saw them face two of the favourites in their first two games. A 1-3 defeat away at Dagenham & Redbridge was followed by a 0-2 defeat at home to early pace setters Doncaster. Burton were Leighs first scalps, going down 4-2 at Hilton Park, but the surprise package so far Woking put a stop to a winning streak with a 3-0 rout at Kingfield.

Margate lost 2-0 up at Leigh, which is the Railwaymens only other win, this was followed by two defeats away at Southport (2-4) and Chester (1-2).

With Barnet putting in a fine display against lowly Telford last Saturday the lads must be high in confidence. But Leigh are better at home than on their travels so this has got to be looked at as a tough match, possibly a draw is on the cards following on from last year's two drawn matches.
