MA meets MA

On Saturday 28 February, at the home game against Tamworth, the BFCSA handed over a cheque for £500 to Martin Allen.

Supporters' Association chairman, Mark Ashfield (pictured right), presented the cheque to Martin just before he was due to meet the press after the 1-0 victory that takes us three points nearer promotion.

The cheque was a donation from the supporters association in response to Martin's appeal for donations to his players' fund. Martin was very pleased to receive the donation.

Speaking to bfcsa.net Mark Ashfied said,

"The association is happy to support this fund and wishes Martin Allen all the best in his quest for promotion.

"We are aware that all the other teams who are challenging for a top-five finish have bigger gates than us so we want to help out where possible.

"We urge all BFCSA members to dontate to this fund, so long as they can afford it."
