ACCRINGTON
Accrington Stanley manager John Coleman is sweating on
the fitness of Michael Knowles ahead of the trip to
Aldershot. Knowles is trying to shake off a thigh injury
in time to play in the season opener. New signing John
Kennedy goes straight into the squad after being released
by Sunderland this summer.

Aldershot manager Terry Brown is keeping his fin-gers
crossed goalkeeper Nicky Bull recovers from an ankle
injury in time to face Accrington Stanley. Anthony

Daryl Clare. Wright revealed Clare's knee injury will
keep him out for "a few weeks", although the
diagnosis is "not as bad as we first thought".
