Lee Harrison - 300 Games

Congratulations to Lee Harrison who made his 300th start for Barnet FC at the Rochdale game on Saturday 15 September.

The Barnet FC Supporters Association presented Lee with a trophy before the game. Pictured below is BFCSA chairman, Keith Doe, presenting it to Lee.

Lee has played for Barnet in two spells. He made his first appearance in a Football League Trophy match (AKA Autowindscreen Shield) on 07 January 1997, against Brentford Town. Unfortunately he let two goals in that evening and Barnet were out the competition.

Lee played a further 21 league games that season and established himself as Barnet's Number 1. He continued in this vain, collecting three consecutive Player of the Year awards (voted for by BFCSA members) in the 1997/98 to 1999/00 seasons. He played his last game for Barnet on 08 October 2002 - this time letting in four goals against Gravesend & Northfleet in a Nationwide Conference match. (This isn't reading too well, is it? Ed)

Lee left Barnet to join Peterborough United; from there he went to Leyton Orient, back to Peterborough, and came back to Barnet in the pre-season of 2006/07. He made his first appearance in his second spell against Torquay United in the opening game of the season on 05 August. Letting in one goal, and Barnet lost.

Despite some unfortunate scorelines on the important dates, in between Lee has become a firm fans' favourite - evidenced by his successive Player of the Year awards - and the BFCSA are proud to have given him his well deserved trophy.
