KBA Float

The KBA organised a float at the Finchley Carnival on Saurday, 6 July. It celebrated over 100 years of Barnet FC.

Below are a few pictures (I was on the float with my daughter) - we received loads of support from the crowds lining the streets. Afterwards we circled the arena in Victoria Park. Hundreds of leaflets were also distributed - many onlookers actually came to us asking for them.

Before the off - as we waited in Finchley Central. The float is supposed to be the East Terrace. The only thing wrong was that it didn't slope!

The back of the float was covered with pictures from Barnet FC's history.

If you look carefully you will see a freshly delivered KBA leaflet in their letterbox.

Probably the first and last time anything honest and truthful hits their doormat!

You may also be interested to know that the Grim Reeper was seen driving around High Barnet today!

With a coffin draped in Black and Amber, more Barnet fans were collecting signatures and distributing leaflets.

By all accounts it was a succesful afternoon, with many people hooting their horns in support. Others expressed their disgust with the way Barnet FC are being treated by the new administration at Barnet Council.
